Helping Our Allies
Let's get over the sickness thing since it was a big failure. Here is a new post!
Moonstar hurriedly padded out into the clearing of the camp, followed by a bleeding and wounded tom, eyes frantic as she leapt onto the Great Boulder. "Cats of HawkClan!" she called, not bothering to wait for the cats to gather. "This is urgent. We must help our ally, LighteningClan in fighting rouges that have attacked their camp. We'll send a two patrols of cats over to their camp to help. Bluemoon!" she called. The blue tom was standing in the middle of the clearing, eyes alert and ears perked. "Yes, Moonstar!" he yelled back. "I want you to organize a patrol of at least 5 warriors and 2 apprentices. I'll organize another one. Understand?" The deputy nodded, and quickly padded off to find warriors for the patrol."
Moonstar leaped off the Great Boulder and padded off to where Ripplestep was, supporting Badgersnarl on her way. "Ripplestep," she said. "Take care of Badgersnarl. He is too weak to go back and fight for his clan. There may be more injured cats, and the medicine cat of LighteningClan will need help. Understand?" The gray medicine cat nodded and directed Badgersnarl into the medicine cat's den, calling out for Plumpaw on her way.

Bluemoon scanned the warriors who were starting to come out of the dens.
ReplyDelete"I'll take Chillingheart, Blackash, Aspentail, Rainfall, Hawkfur, Wolfpaw and Onyxpaw."
The group of cats grouped up and dashed out of camp to the LightningClan camp.
Moonstar looked at the remaining cats. "Snowfeather, Starshine, Rockmelt, Firleaf, Bluepaw and Ivypaw, please come on the other patrol to go to LighteningClan," she said, standing up strait and following Bluemoon's patrol.
ReplyDeleteBlackash quickly ran after Bluemoon as he bared his fangs. How dare rouges attack the clan's ally!
ReplyDeleteRockmelt dashed after the leader of HawkClan, his claws sliding out of his paws as he flexed his shoulder muscles. (...)
Ripplestep called after Moonstar, "I'll catch up to you after I tend to Badgersnarl!" She then padded away into her den.
ReplyDeleteMoonstar paused, and then turned around and nodded quickly and dashed back into the darkness of the forest, the patrol just behind her.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep quickly sniffed Badgersnarl, chewed up marigold leaves and placed them over all of his scratches. Badgersnarl hissed at the sting.
ReplyDeleteChillingheart, without pausing, sprinted after his leader and vanished in the dark. Onyxpaw exchanged a look with his annoyed sister, Ivypaw, and dashed after the head warrior. He felt his heart pounding with his steps. His first real battle! Would his training help him defeat the enemy?
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Ivypaw dug her claws deep into the earth. It was obvious that she was a better fighter than her brother. Why hadn't she been chosen? Was her disbelief in StarClan making the other Clan cats prejudiced against her? The realization make her green eyes flare in emerald fire. She had thought they were above that.
(Ivypaw's assumption may or not be true- I'm not saying that it is. That would, however, be a regular person's reaction if they'd trained their hardest and knew they were better than most, only to be let down in the end.)
Diamondsky padded forwards and sat next to Ivypaw. "I guess we're both left in camp," she said, sighing. Though the Egyptian mau was a warrior, she was still fairly young and liked to converse more with the apprentices than the warriors.
ReplyDeleteSnowheart looked at his apprentice, who was dashing towards where the cats of the patrol were. "Fight well," he said. "But if you need help, just give a nearby cat a yowl. But you've been doing quite well in training, so I don't think you'll have that many problems."
Ivypaw growled. "Yeah," she meowed bitter, her tail lashing.
ReplyDeleteOnyxpaw gave a quick nod. "Okay. I'll do my best, I promise."
Rainfall raced out of the camp.
ReplyDelete~
Ripplestep called, "Plumpaw! Can you keep an eye out for Badgersnarl? You will know what he will need for his scratches because I have to catch up with the patrol."
With that, she grabed a bundle of herbs and raced out of the den.
(...
ReplyDeleteNot to you, Ripplestep, I just don't know what to say)
Go through the pine forest. Our camp is hidden behind a clump of brambles. The ones behind the RIver lead to a different part of our territory. PLease, for hte sake of LIghtnignclan, hurry!
ReplyDeleteHawkfur relished in the feeling of wind whipping his muzzle as he ran powerfully next to Aspentail and Blackash.
ReplyDelete(um... hwere should we comment now?)
