Starshine's turned bright red when A Warrior walked past it took her a while to remember what she was doing. She wondered if this Warrior even knew if she was there, she hoped he did.

It was when the evil cat, Blackshade, became deputy and turned against Moonstar and our clan. Cats were fighting everywhere, it was Blackshade's cats against Moonstar's cats. I was fighting a particular warrior - Ashpelt. He-he was my littermate...."

Many cats from both sides lost their lives that day. Moonstar nearly lost a life, but luckily Ripplestep was quick to save her. Several days later, Moonstar declared that she never wanted to fight such a battle ever again."
