Training Hollow

This is the training hollow for our apprentices. It has a sandy floor to protect the apprentices from getting hurt if they fall to the ground. It is surrounded by trees on every side.

    Starshine decinded to go huntting by the Training Hollow. 'Huntting at New-leaf can be hard with a white coat' Starshine thought to her self, But luckily I learned a trick or two'. She smiled as she looked around for mud soon she found some, Starshine bent down and started to roll in it! She did this becaues 1. Mud stained her coat to brown and 2. It masked her sent. When she was done rolling she sensed a tiny fast hartbeat just bewond a tree root. Instedily she went in a hunters crouch, before the mouse saw it coming Starshine pouned on it. Not before long Starshine caught another mouse, a vole and a thrush.''It is a grate trick but I hate it when I have to lick it off'' complained Starshine to her self. As she started to clean herself up,Starshine made a mential note 'I must tell Brightlegs,Hollypaw, Snowfeather and Vivid about this'.

    "GOT YOU!" Snowfeather purred triumphantly as she pounced on the plump mouse. With a bite to the neck it was hanging limply in her jaws. She turned to head back to camp and saw Starshine licking mud off her white coat. She was curious and padded closer, dropping her mouse.

    After a breif rolling Snowfeather and Starshine went out in op directions, Snowfeather Quickly got a mouse and 2 squirrels fighting over nuts.

    By sun high Snowfeather got another mouse, 2 thrushs and 3 voles. While Starshine got 1 thrush and 3 mice. Before grading their kill from their hinding places they went to Starshines pool [see HawkClan Territory the waterfall] to clean up. Then they triumphantly returned to camp to put them in the fesh kill pile.
