Starshine and Snowpaw were training in the clearing, when Snowpaw smelled something strange. "Starshine!" he whispered. "I smell something! Three things!" Starshine's head shot up immediately, widening her eyes as she realized the awful truth. They were surrounded by an array of dogs, foxes and badgers. "Run!"
The clan was doing their normal activity of sharing tongues and prey when the two cats raced into the camp. "Foxes!" Starshine screeched. "Dogs! And badgers!" Moonstar's eyes widened as her eyes picked up the scent of the three creatures. She quickly yowled to the clan, "Protect the clan with your lives! We're under an attack!"
Blackash raced to the nursery and stood guard in front of it. Starshine quickly rushed over to Rockmelt and the apprentices formed a group in front of the medicine cat's den. Fernsplash stood with Moonstar, Berylmist and Darkflame in the center of the camp. Then, suddenly, the valley was filled with badgers, foxes and dogs, and all of hell broke loose.
Bluemoon was battling a fox when he saw the worst horror of his life: Moonstar lying lifeless under of the paws of a fox and a dog. Scarlet stained the ground of the camp, glistening in the weak sunlight. "Moonstar!" Bluemoon cried as he saw a faint outline leave the leader, symbolizing that she had lost one of her lives. "No! Don't!" he yelled again as a brown figure streaked past him. Snowpaw had hurled himself at the creatures that had brought harm to their leader, but was easily batted away. He crunched against the hard rock of the warrior's den, then fell still. Bluemoon closed his eyes.
HawkClan is going to die.....

A fox come up to Starshine she realised that this was the same fox who attacked her. And the fox realised this to with a yelp of fear the fox raced off yelping. "Ghost Cat the Ghost Cat". Starshine grinned at herself for the other foxes seend warily now as she attacked fist scratching out the eyes of a close fox blindly running away seeing that the yough fox's story was true. "Every one scratch the eyes out" she told Rockmelt. As she continued at another one she thought "why foxes dogs, foxes AND badgers why all at once?".

ReplyDeleteRipplestep was going through the list of herbs in her mind. When she saw the group outside the den, she meowed, "I'll need one apprentice to stay with me the whole time. Can I take Flowerpaw Bluemoon? Okay, if that's settled... The rest of you guys can go out and battle while I get some herbs and get to the nursery. Tell the rest of the cats that I'll be at the nursery if there are any injuries." With that, she dived back into her den.
Blackash ran into the den with Moonstar grasped in his jaws and Snowpaw on his back. "Help!" he screeched. "Moonstar lost a life and Snowpaw is hurt bad!" he set the two cats on the floor and ran outside to battle.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep looked up with alarm. She thought to herself, 'Already a cat injured?' She turned to Flowerpaw, "Can you run to the den and get some cobweb, marigold and thyme? I think you know how all of them look like." With that, she turned to Snowpaw and Moonstar.
ReplyDeleteSnowpaw's flank was rising up and down slowly, but he was still alive, his eyes closed shut with pain. Moonstar hadn't come back to the real world, apparently, and she was as still as a dead cat.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep hurried to Snowpaw. She didn't worry that much about Moonstar since Moonstar would come back in a few moments. She sniffed Snowpaw all around and thought that he was okay. In the end, she decided to leave him there to wake up by himself and if he felt good enough, he could go into the battle.

ReplyDeleteThe camp was filled with cats, foxes, dogs and badgers all trying to fight each other to the death. Bluemoon knocked a fox out of camp when he saw Firpaw cornered by a fox. He quickly lept onto it and clawed at its back, sending it off balance. Then he tore at the foxes face and sent it fleeing the camp. Bluemoon looked at Firpaw, whose eyes were wide open in shock.
ReplyDelete"Are you ok?"
"Y-y-y-yeah...."
"Let's go."
Bluemoon leapt towards the nursery, which was surrounded by 3 foxes, and battered them away with Firpaw copying his actions.
"THANKS BLUEMOON AND FIRPAW!" Plumkit and Wolfkit squeaked.
"Plumkit! Wolfkit! Stay away from the entrance!" Aspentail shrieked and dragged the two kits deeper into the den away from the fight.
"Come on Firpaw!" Bluemoon panted.
They quickly took down a fox that was wandering around the clearing, and scared a badger out of camp.
"YEAH!"
They ran through camp to find any unprotected dens, when an unexpected noise came from behind them.
"Gr.......... ROOOOOOF!"
Firpaw shrieked. Bluemoon leapt up onto the dog's muzzle and clawed at its eyes. The dog swept him off and delivered a blow at Firpaw's flank. Firpaw fell down silently.
"NOO" Bluemoon yelled.
He leapt up at the dog and tore his ear. The dog wailed. Bluemoon snatched Firpaw by the scruff and hurried to the medicine cat's den.
Fernsplash shook her head and leaped at what she first heard. Gripping what seemed to be a badger, she hung on as it tried to shake her off.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep saw Bluemoon dragging Firpaw with him. She instinctively knew that something was wrong with Firpaw. So she rushed to the entrance and helped Bluemoon drag Firpaw into the medicine cat den. She yelled to Bluemoon, "Go back into the fighting! I"ll take car of Firpaw!" With that she crouched over him. Seconds later, Moonstar came about. Snowpaw was stirring. She put Firpaw onto a mossy nest and sniffed him carefully.
ReplyDeleteBluemoon nodded to Ripplestep, and flung himself back into the action. He was quickly met with a young fox, and he leapt onto its back and battered its head, sending it bounding out of the camp. There were much less enemies now, he could only see around 5 foxes left.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep put cobwebs on the scratches and pressed some chewed up marigold leaves there. She meowed, "Flowerpaw, can you help me keep the cobweb and marigold on?" Then she moved to Snowpaw.
ReplyDeleteIn the den, Moonstar opened her eyes and looked around, then jumped up. "T-the battle!" she stammered, her full strength still not yet back. Outside, Blackash was fending off the nursery with a fierceness that he hardly ever showed. He was getting tired. The only thing that kept him going was the knowledge that he was protecting Aspentail, his precious mate. Rockmelt fought alongside Starshine, and smiled. "We're doing quite well, aren't we?" he asked his partner.
ReplyDelete"Moonstar! Do you feel strong enough??? If you do, I guess you can join the fighting... Wait, I need to help Snowpaw." With that, Ripplestep turned away and bounded over to Snowpaw. She nudged Snowpaw. She heard a groan.
ReplyDeleteSnowpaw opened his eyes a crack. His whole body ached. "It hurts...." he mewled.
ReplyDeleteMoonstar stood up and stumbled slightly, then shook herself, eyes determined. "I need to protect my clan," she said, heading out towards the fight.

(Okay... np :P) Ripplestep said, "You stay here and DON'T MOVE!" With that, she ran off deeper into the den.
ReplyDeleteStarshine was clawing hard at a dog sending ti away but then a bit her leg agine! "Oh come on!" yowld Starshine then bit the fox's nose the fox let go and fleed. Starshine was very tired but she needed to help she could still fight.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep thought, 'We need more help.' She hoped Moonstar could hurry up wherever she's going. She could see that they were loosing the battle. She muttered to herself, "I don't even think we can last for a few more minutes..."
ReplyDeleteThe badger shook Fernsplash off and pinned her down, and she felt it's hot breath on her face. "Help!" she cried desperately, scratching it's belly but to no avail.
ReplyDeleteStarshine through herself at the badger scratching its nose whiled open the badger roared in pain wiped around to see its attacker Starshine scratched it eyes the badger ran out of camp. "Are you OK".
ReplyDeleteFernsplash shook the blood off of her. "Yeah.... I-I think so..." she coughed. Sensing a fox this time snarling in the direction of where Starshine was, Fernsplash quickly whipped around and let out a snarl. "Starshine! Fox! Behind you!" she screeched before leaping in the direction of it.
ReplyDeleteRockmelt and Moonstar rushed over to help out the two cats. "Are any of you hurt?" Moonstar asked urgently. Rockmelt replied, "Just a few scratches," as he batted away a badger. "How about you two?"

ReplyDeleteRockmelt nodded. "But can you still fight?" Moonstar fiercely clawed away the approaching animals.

ReplyDelete" Yes I can still fight" Starshine said. She went to go to the med cats den to defened she was worried lots of cats were tired oh Starclan help us.
ReplyDeleteFernsplash turned as a hard blow landed to the side of her head. "Wah...?" she meowed slowly, then struggled to her paws, but large fangs pierced her front limb, and she was dragged forward. 'StarClan, why have you made me blind? I can't see what I'm fighting!'
ReplyDeleteStarshine lunched at Fernsplashs attacker giving it all she got the attacker let Fernsplash go but instead graded Starshine on the ribs she felt him crushing her. "AAAHHH" Starshine screamed
ReplyDeleteRipplestep saw Fersplash and immediately rushed out and dragged her to the safety of the medicine cat den.

ReplyDeleteFernsplash winced as she felt Ripplestep dragging her into the safety of the medicine cat den. "B-B-But Starshine's hurt! I have to g-go and h-help her b-before it kills her!" she protested, trying to shake off the medicine cat's grip.
ReplyDeleteRockmelt's eyes widened and he immediately leapt in front of Starshine, lashing out viciously with his claws and sending the creature fleeing back into the woods.

ReplyDeleteRockmelt narrowed his eyes and quickly picked up the she-cat by her scruff, taking her to Ripplestep's den. "She's hurt!" he called, and rushed back to fight. "I-I can help you!" Snowpaw mewed to Ripplestep.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep hissed, "She will be saved. But I have to save you first! Your in worse damage than her. Here, stay in the nest while I get Starshine in here." She pushed some leaves towards Fernslapsh. "Chew up these leaves. They'll calm you down." With that, she raced back out and headed towards Starshine.
ReplyDeleteNow Ripplestep faced 2 hurt cats. Lucky for her, she had Flowerpaw and Snowpaw. She said, "Can you guys help me get more thyme, cobwebs and marigold. Once you come back... You'll have to go and get more..."
ReplyDeleteFernsplash felt dizzy, and licked up the leaves. Pain shot through her, and she felt cold and numb before collapsing. (She's not dead)

ReplyDeleteSnowpaw limped to the back of the den and got the herbs, when suddenly, the ground began to shake. He raced back to the medicine cat in fear. "What's happening?"
ReplyDeleteOutside, Rockmelt, Blackash and Moonstar froze as they felt the world shake. As if on cue, all of the creatures attacking the camp turned and fled, never to be seen again, and all was quiet.
She saw both of the cats close their eyes. Then she quickly put cobwebs on their wounds. And also dripped some marigold juice on them. She didn't want them to feel the pain after all they have been through..
ReplyDeleteBut then there was some shaking and Ripplestep fell over. She felt as if the earth was going to break open. She though, 'StarClan! What is happening to us??'
ReplyDeleteFernsplash unsheathed her claws and dug them into the moss of her bedding. 'Not this time!' She thought desperatly, wining faintly in her sleep.
ReplyDeleteAs the ground began to shake Starshine got up it was like the earthquack gave her life.
ReplyDeleteMoonstar clenched her jaws tight as the earthquake subsided and quickly leaped onto the Great Boulder. She had an announcement to make.
ReplyDeleteRipplestep meowed, "Fernsplash, it's no good to me or you or the clan if your not going to heal. So just bear with it for a few days and you'll be fine."
